Our Wagyu beef

Our Wagyu beef

At Nordik Wagyu, animal welfare is our top priority. Our animals are raised in a peaceful environment, in conditions conducive to their healthy development. Our animals are fed with a combination of grain and hay without any antibiotics or growth hormones added.

Our rearing methods help improve both the animals’ quality of life and the unparalleled quality of our Wagyu meat. Wagyu calves stay with their mothers out in the pasture, from birth to weaning. Afterwards, they are housed in temperature-controlled facilities to optimize their comfort and well-being. After being raised for about 30 months—twice as long as for conventional breeds—their meat is then aged for 30 days, an essential step to ensure excellent taste and tenderness with every bite. We maintain standards of the highest quality so that you can enjoy the benefits.

Superior marbling

Wagyu cattle, with its unique genetics combined with optimal rearing methods, are completely different from other breeds because their meat is so richly marbled. Wagyu meat is notable for its tenderness, rich taste and a slight hint of hazelnut flavour.

Full blood, full of goodness

Nordik Wagyu’s cattle all descend from the very first herd of some 200 animals to arrive from Japan in the 1990s. No cross-breeding, no modifying, which is what gives our meat its superior quality. Only 100% pure Wagyu beef on your plate—we’re extremely proud of this!
